THE F-600

The Super Duty® F-600 is designed to tackle your toughest jobs with ease, and it’s available with either the 7.3L gas engine or the 6.7L diesel engine. The F-600 features a 15,090 lb.-maximum payload rating and can tow up to 34,500 lbs. It boasts a GCWR of 43,000 lbs., and higher-weight-rated 19.5-inch tires allow it to achieve a GVWR of 22,000 lbs., all exceeding the already impressive numbers of the F-550. Finally, it also features driveline and chassis components upgraded from the F-550 to provide increased durability.

SYNC® 4 Technology gives you complete control of the innovative tech in your Super Duty®, running on a 12-inch screen. Available enhanced voice recognition, cloud-based connectivity and so much more bring you a seamless and personalized driving experience27. Standard on LARIAT models.

MORE POWER FOR TOWING AND HAULING

No surprise that Super Duty® Chassis Cab improves upon its already top-rated performance with a strong line of engines. There’s the available 7.3L OHV gas V8 as well as the available third-generation 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel.

7.3L OHV PFI GAS V8

The largest gas V8 in a heavy-duty chassis cab, the 7.3L gas V8 engine features a best-in-class* gas torque rating of 468 lb.-ft. and 335 hp. The 7.3L gas V8 is built for strenuous duty, day in and day out, with impressive durability, performance and power.

6.7L POWER STROKE® V8 TURBO DIESEL

This third generation of the available 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel surpasses the previous generation’s power ratings and has been updated to be quieter and more efficient, and features better throttle response. The diesel powerhouse boasts ratings of 330 hp and 825 lb.-ft. of torque.

6.2L FLEX-FUEL GAS V8

The 6.2L V8, standard on F-350 models, delivers its peak torque at low rpm and maintains high torque throughout the midrange of the power band. It’s a proven workhorse on demanding everyday jobs.

FORD TORQSHIFT® 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

All Super Duty® Chassis Cab models now feature a standard Ford TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission, with diesel models featuring best-in-class PTO torque. For extra power, the available Live-Drive Power Takeoff (PTO) Provision with Mobile Mode lets you power an aftermarket snowplow, pump, compressor or other accessories. Ford TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission also features three overdrive gear ratios to further improve overall fuel economy. The Ford TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission also offers Neutral Idle mode exclusively for chassis cab trucks. In Neutral Idle mode, the transmission automatically shifts into Neutral while stopped (if conditions allow it). It will then automatically resume shifting into Drive when you step off the brake. This improves efficiency and reduces load on the engine, reducing operating costs in the process.

BEST-IN-CLASS PAYLOAD

Reducing body weight and making the frame eight times stiffer than before — together, these increase the payload in today’s generation of the Super Duty® Chassis Cab. And that’s a big reason the 12,750 lb.-maximum payload rating is the best in its class. * The F-600 takes things even further and hauls up to a maximum of 15,090 lbs. **

OUTSTANDING GCWR

Take the fully boxed under-cab and redesigned C-channel aft-of-cab frame built of high-strength steel — plus the heftier components of the suspension, chassis and driveline. Now add the outstanding hauling and towing capabilities of this Super Duty® and you’ve got an impressive gross combination weight rating — 40,000 pounds — one of the highest of any Class 3-5 chassis cab built today. * But we didn’t stop there; the F-600 takes things even further, with a GCWR of 43,000 lbs. **

STRONG FRONT GAWR

Upfit bigger with the Ford Super Duty® Chassis Cab. Some of the weight savings from the high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body were reinvested into heavier-duty axle and front suspension components, resulting in a maximum front gross axle weight rating of 7,500 lbs. * This maximum GAWR rating is available on the F-550 and standard on the F-600.

TOUGH AND DURABLE HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL FRAME

The fully boxed under-cab and C-channel aft-of-cab frame is made of high-strength steel with up to 10 crossmembers with key crossmembers through-welded to increase stiffness. The frame also includes a 3-hole pattern added to the bottom side of the frame, allowing for easier aftermarket hitch installation and torsional rigidity eight times greater than that of the previous generation. The C-channel frame easily accommodates a wide range of upfits, from flat and dump beds to wrecker, service and delivery bodies. The F-600 features additional frame reinforcements giving it the strength and durability you need to get the toughest jobs done.

HIGH-STRENGTH, MILITARY-GRADE, ALUMINUM-ALLOY BODY

The Super Duty® is the only Class 3-5 chassis cab with a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body. It’s lighter than steel yet immensely strong. And it’s also more dent and ding-resistant and not subject to rust.

CLEAN, EASY UPFITTING

The Super Duty® Chassis Cab is designed with upfitting in mind, with an open C-channel frame aft of cab featuring a standard 34-inch frame-rail width. With the Super Duty® Chassis Cab frame and body, you can work hard and work smart, with aft-of-axle frame extensions for outstanding configuration flexibility, a factory-installed, programmable upfitter interface module for ease of upfitting, and six auxiliary upfitter switches located overhead in the cab to help operate a variety of powered options.

TRUCK APPS

The available 4.2-inch or 8-inch LCD productivity screen puts valuable information on a wide variety of vehicle functions in front of you, with up to seven screens readily available through My View. Among them is a screen displaying towing functions, such as trailer brake controller and transmission tow/haul settings, vehicle pitch and steering angle, and profiles of up to 10 trailers.

FORDPASS™ CONNECT WITH 4G LTE WI-FI HOTSPOT

With FordPass™ Connect, you and passengers can enjoy an available 4G LTE in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot, powered by AT&T. Up to 10 devices can connect at once, and you can access the hotspot up to 50 feet outside the vehicle. Now you can stay connected, even as you roam the highways.
